U19 League: Limerick In Section One Of New-Look League

Limerick will compete in Section One of the 2015 Under-19 League, which gets underway on the weekend of 23 August.

Tommy Barrett’s Shannonsiders will face Bray Wanderers, Cobh Ramblers, Cork City, UCD, Waterford United and Wexford Youths – playing them home and away in a 12-game season.

Last season, Limerick won the Southern Elite Division and defeated Shelbourne in the quarter-finals before exiting to eventual winners Saint Patrick’s Athletic in the last four.

Now, in what is a short season which will run until December, the league is split into three divisions. The league series finishes in November with the Knockout Phase following.
