U12s: Mungret 0-4 Limerick

U12 Division Two: Mungret/Regional B 0-4 Limerick B

Limerick Under-12s B got their Division Two season off to a flying start with a 4-0 win away to Mungret/Regional B on Wednesday night.

From the get-go, the young Superblues were on the front foot and it wasn’t long before they took the lead as Kane Slattery finished off a fine team move.

That advantage was doubled before half-time when James McBride found the back of the net.

The second half continued in much the same manner, with Limerick showing a great work ethic, and their efforts were rewarded with a third goal by Patrick McNamara.

Limerick rounded off the game with a late goal from Adam Fitzgerald, to complete what manager Gearóid Kerley said was a “brilliant display by the players from 1-14”.

Limerick Team: Kallen McCarthy, Conor McGuane, Ronan Fitzgerald, Matt Hogan, Alex Malone, Kane Slattery, Alfie Duggan, Patrick McNamara, Kian Ryan, James McBride, Adam Fitzgerald. Subs: Justin Brosnan, Conor Davies-Molloy, Gerard Quaid.
