Michael (Mikey) Flanagan RIP

It is with great sadness that Limerick FC are today mourning the loss of Michael (Mike) Flanagan. Mike passed away at 1:50am after a short illness. The sudden passing of Mike has cast a shadow over Limerick FC, the club which he had passionately supported all his life. Mike was a Steward at the Club and his sons Gary (Event Controller) and Brian (Steward), and his step-grandson Jamie (Steward) are also volunteers with the Club.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

We would like to thank Mike for his loyal support, his time and generosity, and for his professionalism and honesty in all he did for the Club. His presence will be missed – especially on match nights, where his welcoming and friendly personality helped make all our home matches so enjoyable.

Rest in Peace Mikey: you will always be in our thoughts.
