Limerick FC awarded First Division Licence; Season Ticket prices reduced

Thursday 16th February 2012

Limerick FC is delighted to announce that the Independent Club Licensing Committee yesterday evening awarded the Club a First Division Licence for the 2012 Airtricity League Season.

Limerick FC had applied for a Premier Division Licence. The Club is delighted that all criteria, except stadium infrastructure, were met. The Board and Management Committee look forward to being able to fulfil this criteria, which would allow us to take a place in the Premier Division in 2013.

Also, Limerick FC has reduced its Season Ticket prices for the 2012 Airtricity League First Division campaign. This reflects the fact that fewer teams than were expected will contest the First Division and consequently there will be less home matches than originally anticipated. The Season Ticket provides the best value-for-money to fans who wish to support the Club, equivalent to 3 FREE matches. Those who purchase a Family Stand ticket will make even greater savings.

All information is available at, where you can also download an application form. You can purchase your Season Ticket online using your Laser or Credit Card. You can also purchase your Season Ticket from the Club Office or from the Limerick FC Official Club Store at Arthurs Quay Shopping Centre (Patrick Street). You can submit your application by post by sending a completed application form with your payment (cheque or postal order) and a passport-type photo to: Ticketing Officer, Limerick Football Club, Knockalisheen House, Knockalisheen, Meelick, Co Clare.
