Limerick FC pair Ross Mann and Val Feeney have been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-19 squad for an upcoming training camp.
In September, Mann was part of Paul Doolin’s full squad for their friendly win over the Netherlands in Dublin, where he played the final 20 minutes, while Feeney has also previously been capped at underage level while at the club.
The squad will assemble in the capital on Monday 26 January and have a training session that evening, with a friendly fixture organised for the Tuesday against Bohemians (venue TBC, kick-off 7.45pm).
Mann – who turned 19 last Friday – will partake in the first two days of the training camp while Feeney – who celebrates his 19th birthday on Monday – will stay on for the four and take in another game.
The players will again train on Wednesday morning before a friendly against another of Doolin’s former clubs, Drogheda United on Thursday evening (venue TBC, kick-off 7.45pm).
