Limerick FC Last Man Standing


We are hoping to raise vital funds to ensure continued success for Limerick Football Club and encourage members to enter the competition and to recruit friends and family to join in.

If every Limerick FC supporter entered we would raise a huge amount of money for the club as well as being able to offer a massive prize for the winner of the competition.

To play, you pick a team from the Premiership in week one. If they win you go through to next round where you pick another team (you cannot pick same team twice). If your team loses or draws you are out. Simple as that.

If you are successful in week one you will receive an e-mail with the fixtures for the week. You reply to that e-mail with your selection.

Rules
  1. Each week you must pick 1 team to win
  2. You may only pick each team once in a series (so if you pick Arsenal in week one then you cannot pick them again for the next 9 weeks)
  3. If your team wins you move on to the next round. If your team loses, draws or you fail to nominate a team you are knocked out
  4. There are 10 rounds in each series
  5. The winner is the 'last man standing' or anyone left after series 10
  6. The winner(s) receive 50% of the money raised with the other 50% going to Limerick FC. There will be additional non monetary prizes available
  7. On the Monday before each game you will receive an email informing you if you have moved on to the next round. Simply respond to this email with your choice for that week by the Thursday of the week
  8. You can check the progress each week online at www.limerickfc.ie
  9. If all games end in draws on a given weekend all participants still involved will be moved on to the next round
  10. It costs €20 to enter. The more entrants there are, the bigger the prize fund so please encourage friends and family to sign up

This continues until there is the Last Man Standing who picks up the prize money.

If more than one person is still standing after ten matches, then they share half the pot of all entry fees received. The other half goes directly to Limerick Football Club.

So, there’s the excitement of the contest, the chance to win a pot of money, and the opportunity to help the club’s fundraising efforts – all for just €20 entry fee.

We would really appreciate if you could encourage any friends or work colleagues who may be interested to sign up as this would add excitement and a friendly competitive edge to the competition.
